Dah lama banget pingin coba buat masakan jepang ini. Soalnya ini makanan kesukaan kalo makan di hokben. Masa makanan favorit, ga dicoba buat sendiri? redface Awalnya bingung banget cari jelly noodle di sini. Searching terus di internet sampai tau dari bahan apa dasarnya. Ternyata itu bahannya dari semacam umbi yg di sini disebut ile-ile atau umbi porang. Dan ternyata pula di daerah jawa timur tanaman ini sudah di budidayakan bahkan sudah di eksport berupa konyaku. Akhirnya cari2 ketemu juga di toko kelontong pancoran yg jual konyaku, satu pack isi 10 buah sudah diiket kecil2 seharga 20 k. Lumayan mahal sih, tapi ga apa soalnya doyan banget sama mi satu ini. Trus sabtunya beli bawang bombay 1 buah 2 k dan sawi putih 1 buah 4,5 k, daging sukiyaki 15k dan tahu telur 2 bungkus 10 k. Mahal juga sih soalnya belanjanya di Hero sih. sad

Tadi siang abis bikin tugas, mulai dah bikin sukiyaki. Hasilnya lebih cocok dengan lidah kita, soalnya kalo beli yg di hokben rasanya manis banget. Suami saya kurang suka dengan rasa yg di hokben. Tapi sukiyaki yg saya buat rasanya pas. Manis, gurih enak banget.smile Resep saya ambil dari buku resep masakan jepang, tapi saya modifikasi sedikit. Disesuaikan dengan bahan yg tersedia dan lidah keluarga. wink Soalnya kalo ikut resep, beli sake mahal banget, dan rasanya takut getir. Hehehe

Nih Resepnya:
Bahan:
200 gr daging sukiyaki
1 buah bawang bombay iris melingkar
50 gr jamur shitake rendam di air dingin hingga lemas, potong dua.
6 lembar sawi putih potong kotak2
2 lembar daun bawang potong panjang 3 cm
1 pack konyaku noodles
2 bungkus tahu telur rebus hingga matang potong2
200 ml air kaldu
3 sdm kecap jepang atau kecap ikan
1 sdt garam
1/2 sdt lada
3 sdm gula
6 sdm arak masak
1 sdm cuka beras
Minyak sedikit untuk panggang daging

Cara:
– Panggang sebentar tahu telur yg sudah di rebus, sisihkan. Kalau mau lebih enak digoreng sebentar juga boleh.
– Tuang minyak sedikit panggang daging sukiyaki hingga matang.
– Masukkan air kaldu, kecap ikan, garam, lada, gula, arak masak dan cuka beras.
– Masukkan konyaku noodles, masak hingga mendidih, kecilkan api masak hingga bumbu meresap.
– Masukkan jamur shitake, masak sebentar.
– Masukkan sawi putih, bawang bombay dan daun bawang, masak sampai matang dan mendidih.
– Angkat sajikan dengan di tambah tahu telur.

Was a long time ago I want to try making this japannese food. Cause this was my favorite food when eat at hokben. Is strange isn’t it if my favorite, I cannot cook for myself?redface First I really desperate looking for konyaku noodle in here. Keep searching in internet that makes me know what make konyaku noodles. Look like it was from root that call ile-ile or porang root. And the fact that at east java this plant already cultivation also already export as konyaku. Finally I found it at pancoran sundries shop that sell konyaku, 1 pack content 10 pcs that already tie up cost 20 k. A little expensive, but is allright cause I like it so much with this kind noodle. At saturday I buy onion 1 pcs 2 k and mustard greens 1 pcs 4,5 k, sukiyaki meat 15 k and egg tofu 2 pack 10 k. It was expensive cause I shop at Hero Supermarket. sad

This afternoon afte making task, start making sukiyaki. The result got match with our taste, cause if you buy at hokben the taste is too sweet. My husband didn’t like it with the sweet taste at hokben. But my sukiyaki taste good . Sweet, salty so delicious. smile The recipe I took from my japannese recipe book, but I modificate a little. Suite with all the ingredients that I have and my family taste.wink Cause if you following the recipe, buy sake are too expensive, and afraid got a bitter taste. Hehehe

Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
200 gr sukiyaki meat
1 pcs onion slice round
50 gr shitake mushroom soak in water till soft and cut in two.
6 pcs mustard green slice square
2 pcs onion leaves cut long 3 cm
1 pack konyaku noodles
2 pack eggs tofu boiled till done then cut
200 ml stock
3 tbs japannese soy or fish soy sauce
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
3 tbs sugar
6 tbs cooking wine
1 tbs rice vinegar
a little oil for bake meat

How to cook :
– Bake a while egg tofu that already boiled, move a side. If you want better you can fry it a while.
– Pour a little cooking oil bake sukiyaki meat till done.
– Put in stock, fish soy sauce, salt, pepper, sugar, cooking wine and rice vinegar.
– Put in konyaku noodles, cook till boiled, with low heat cook till spice soak through.
– Put in shitake mushroom, cook a while.
– Put in mustard green, onion and onion leaves, cook till done and boiled.
– Lift and served adding egg tofu.
